How to join...

Applications to join the club are welcome

Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December annually.

For 2026 committee members are working with the Royal Kennel Club (RKC) to achieve the accolade of recognition of The Braque du Bourbonnais onto the Import Breed Register. Part of the recognition requires an amount of existing and future owners, and other interested parties to be fully paid up members of the breed club. This will demonstrate an amount of interest and diversity in the breed going forward.

In 2026 the committee hope to arrange a club event and seminar where club members will be welcome to join with their dogs. The seminar will be a Breed Appreciation Day (BAD) which is another requirement towards recognition with the RKC onto the Import Register. RKC require fully paid up members in order to meet RKC rules and regulations of a breed club.

The British Braque du Bourbonnais Club is a non profit organisation and relies on the voluntary efforts of the committee and it's members. Therefore membership subscriptions are required to meet ancillary costs such as bank account, website and other administrative fees, as well as other fund raising events. This enables us to carry out the work we do on behalf of our members and to serve and protect the breed.
